Audaphon drivers feature an excellent price / performance ratio.

The TWS 25/6 (now replaced by SEAS TWS 27/6) surprises with a high resonance frequency; when fitted to a cabinet, however, no negative effect could be noticed. This driver harmonises extremely well with other upmarket drivers, so much that Dennis Frank started right away designing several speakers, like Mini, Mini 6.5 and Midi

The Audaphon TWS 30/4 is totally different: The resonance frequency is 550 Hz; its effective piston radiating area is big: Sd = 10,3 cm2. The TWS 30/4 has nearly no resonances.

The cabinet volume calculations are executed considering an external resistance of 0.3 Ohm. We are using, if no other data is known or available, the information supplied by the manufacturer.

Please note: the frequency response doesn't say much about the cut-off frequency inside the cabinet! Therefore, we mostly give you 2 examples with dimensioning considerations and an indication, how low the loudspeaker will reproduce.
